At Fisherly, we respect your right to control your personal information and digital footprint. You have the right to request the permanent deletion of your Fisherly account and all associated angling data at any time.

Method 1: In-App Account Deletion (Instant)

If you have the Fisherly mobile application installed on your device, you can delete your account instantly:

1. Open the Fisherly mobile app.
2. Navigate to the Account tab in the navigation bar.
3. Scroll to the Account Actions section.
4. Tap Delete Account (highlighted in red).
5. Confirm the deletion prompt by selecting Delete Forever.

Upon confirmation, your profile, authentication credentials, logbook catches, photos, and tackle inventory are immediately wiped from our live database.

Method 2: Web Deletion Request Form

If you no longer have the app installed, submit the form below using the email address associated with your Fisherly account. Our team will verify and process your deletion within 48 hours.

Categories of Data Permanently Deleted

• Authentication & Profile: Email address, public angler name, avatar images, and device tokens.
• Smart Logbook: All sessions, catch photos, species records, weights, lengths, and exact GPS coordinates.
• Tacklebox: Stored rods, reels, rigs, terminal tackle, and custom bait presets.
• Social Data: Friend connections, private messages, and leaderboard entries.

Data Retention Policies

Fisherly retains anonymized statistical platform metrics and financial invoice transaction logs strictly where required by applicable tax legislation (e.g. HMRC in the UK), after which they are purged. No personally identifiable data is retained.
